Welcome!
Northeasters Barbershop Chorus is an extraordinary group of gentlemen who gather together in celebration of the artform known as barbershop music. We are a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
The chorus, now under the direction of Tammy Ebert, has been performing for 38 years. Howard Keppler, a Wayne County transplant from New York, approached Bob Mains in 1978 looking for someone to direct a barbershop chorus that he hoped to form in the Honesdale area. With sponsorship from the Scranton Chapter, his dream became a reality a few months later. In 2004 the Northeasters made a CD with the Wayne Choralaires, and all of the $10,000 proceeds from the sale of the 1,000 CDs were donated to the Wayne County Children's Christmas Bureau. An annual concert is presented in October at Honesdale High School. The chorus also performs for local nursing homes, community events, and as entertainment at sporting events.

We love to entertain by putting on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families. Could you use a "singing telegram" on Valentine's Day or Morther's Day?
Please contact us to sing at your next special event!
